Kitting and assembly is combining separate products into one ready-to-ship unit, such as a bundle, gift set or PR kit. At Matrix, each kit is built as its own SKU in our Los Angeles warehouse so it ships like any other product.

Can you pre-build kits before a launch?

Yes. Share your kit spec, quantity and launch date, and we assemble units ahead of time so launch-day orders ship the same day when placed by 2 PM Pacific.

What kinds of kits do you build?

We build bundles, multipacks, holiday and gift sets, subscription kits, sample sets and PR and influencer kits.

How do you track kit inventory?

Each kit is set up as its own SKU in ShipHero WMS. You see how many kits are built and how many of each component remain, in real time.

Can kits include our branded packaging and inserts?

Yes. Kits can be packed in your branded boxes with your inserts, cards and gift notes, the same way on every unit.

How much does kitting cost?

Every quote is itemized, so kitting work is listed line by line based on your kit spec. Pick and pack starts at $1.50 per order plus $0.35 per additional item, with $0 setup fees.

Can you kit products with expiration dates?

Yes. We track lots and expiration dates and use FEFO, so the oldest components go into kits first.

Is there a contract or minimum?

No. Matrix is month-to-month with 30 days' notice and no order minimums.
