What is cosmetics fulfillment?
Cosmetics fulfillment is outsourced storage, picking, packing and shipping for makeup, skincare and beauty brands. Matrix receives your products into our Los Angeles warehouse, records lot and expiration data, packs each order in your branded packaging and ships it the same day when it arrives by 2 PM Pacific.
Do you track lot numbers and expiration dates?
Yes. Every unit is received with its lot and expiration date in ShipHero WMS, and orders are picked first-expired, first-out (FEFO) so the oldest-dated stock ships first. If you ever need to trace or pull a batch, we can identify exactly which orders contained it.
Is your warehouse FDA-registered?
Yes. Matrix operates an FDA-registered facility in Los Angeles, which makes it a compliant home for skincare, cosmetics and other regulated beauty products.
Can you use our branded boxes, tissue and inserts?
Yes. We store your branded packaging on-site and pack every order to your written spec, including tissue, stickers, samples and thank-you cards. Matrix branding never appears on your shipments.
Do you build PR boxes and influencer kits?
Yes. We kit gift sets, launch bundles, PR boxes and creator mailers in-house. Each kit is tracked as its own SKU with a bill of materials and photographed during the first build so every unit matches.
How do you protect glass bottles and liquids?
We set protective packing per SKU, such as bubble or molded inserts, sealed bags for liquids and right-sized boxes, so serums, droppers and jars arrive intact.
How much does cosmetics fulfillment cost?
Pick and pack starts at $1.50 per order plus $0.35 per additional item, and drops as low as $0.50 per order at volume. Bin storage is $0.25 per day, and there are no setup, platform or account fees. You receive an itemized quote.
